Hiking with friends. Eighteen holes without wincing. Playing on the floor with your grandkids. Low-level laser therapy is a non-invasive way to find out if you can get there again — without drugs, injections, or surgery.
Our laser therapy program has helped patients with a wide range of knee conditions reclaim their active lives.
Joint degeneration causing stiffness, swelling, and pain that worsens over time.
Partial tears causing catching, locking, or giving way sensations in the knee.
Inflammation of the patellar or quadriceps tendon, common in active adults.
Persistent fluid buildup limiting range of motion and causing ongoing discomfort.
Residual pain and stiffness following knee replacement or arthroscopic procedures.
Inflamed bursae sacs causing sharp pain on the outer or inner side of the knee.
Low-level laser therapy uses precise, gentle light energy to penetrate the tissue around your knee, supporting your body's own repair processes at the cellular level — without heat, discomfort, or downtime.
A thorough evaluation of your knee, pain history, and imaging. We determine whether laser therapy is a reasonable option for you — no obligation, no pressure.
For chronic conditions, we typically recommend starting with 6 sessions (about 30 minutes each). This gives us a clear, honest picture of how your body is responding before discussing anything further.
We reassess your pain, mobility, and function against where you started. If you're responding well, we'll talk about next steps. If you're not, we'll tell you that directly.
A 2019 meta-analysis review of 22 different placebo-controlled trials (BMJ Open) found low-level laser therapy reduced knee osteoarthritis pain more than placebo, especially at recommended doses, and a more recent double-blind trial (Lasers in Medical Science) reported improved pain and function versus sham. Research is still developing and results vary from person to person.
Walk in, walk out. Sessions fit into a lunch break. There's no anesthesia, no incisions, and no rehabilitation period required.
Unlike pain medication that masks symptoms, laser therapy promotes cellular regeneration for durable, lasting improvements in knee function.
Laser sessions start at $85. Most extended health plans cover some or all of the cost — we'll confirm your specific coverage before your first visit, so you know exactly what to expect.
Hear from patients who reclaimed activities they thought were behind them.
“I had a bad left knee for 2–3 months. It was terrible because I have to go up and down stairs at work 10 to 15 times a day. Laser worked out great — I can now do the stairs at work without pain, and it doesn't keep me up at night any more.”
“I had 3–4 years of constant pain and limits on my activity. I've had an excellent result, I'm able to do more walking, and I'm pain free.”
“I could hardly walk for 4–5 months, and the severe pain had me on crutches. I felt relief almost immediately and my condition has improved tenfold.”
